Melissa Benavides Fight Against Breast Cancer

Our family found out this week, tragic news that Melissa is in a fight for her life, battling invasive breast cancer. She is scheduled this Tuesday for an emergency  Mastectomy and then aggressive Chemo directly after. My sister is not only a wife to Lucio Benavides but also a mother of 6. Melissa is a Respiratory Therapist at a Children's Hospital in California. She is now on disability and her husband Lucio had to take FMLA to take care of her. I will keep everyone updated on her expenses. So far, I know that she has a 2500 deductible and she is in need of medical equipment and supplies. Please consider donating and praying alongside us as we support Melissa and her family through this battle. Please keep in mind that if you are in no position to help financially, we completely understand. Your positive, loving and healing thoughts would be greatly appreciated either way. Even though she is trying to adjust mentally with everything that she is dealing with, Melissa wants everyone to share her story and cheer her on along this journey she is faced with.
