Melissa Conley and her four children
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Mary Noel and I am fundraising for Melissa Conley who lost her beloved husband Todd on Sunday, 7/16/23. Melissa has been a valued member of the Chick-fil-A O’Fallon team since 2015. Before she cut back her hours to help Todd fight cancer she could often be found doing prep in the kitchen or managing/running catering orders. She will be using the donations we can raise on GoFundMe to pay medical/household bills and offset the cost of funeral services for Todd. Thank you so much for any help you can give. The below was written by Ariel Lynch, Melissa’s niece.
Todd Conley had nothing short of a heart of gold. Life was hard until he met Melissa in 2014; he blended into our family immediately and was deeply loved. Melissa and Todd were married November, 2018. He was diagnosed with stage 4 stomach cancer in early 2023; it was known that it wouldn’t be curable but could be managed. Todd started treatment in March. He fought with everything he had with Melissa and our family by his side. His love for God never waivered through it all. Todd was the happiest on camping trips with his family, Branson, and duck hunting. Duck hunting was his true passion, and he was extremely good; the number of ducks and décor in his man cave is mind-blowing! His cancer was so aggressive and ultimately took over way too soon. Melissa and Todd have 4 kids. They finally bought their first house together and were ready to live happily ever after. Losing Todd is already as hard as it gets, but now in the endless grief, money should not be a factor in their stress. Melissa is the only income to support them all. We made this GoFundMe to help their family get through this difficult time without having to worry about money. Melissa is not one to ask for help. She will struggle alone, never ask, and find a way, but she is not alone and needs our help more than ever right now. Todd went to heaven surrounded by family and friends. He is no longer in pain and is finally at peace, but his family has a long journey ahead of them. If able, please donate anything you can. Every dollar counts and is greatly appreciated by all of us. During this time, the world keeps spinning, but their family can’t breathe. However, they don’t have to do it alone.
