Funeral expenses for Melissa Cortes

As almost everyone knows my sister Melissa passed away on September 28th, 2023. Our mother Jonette has asked me to start this fundraiser as she passed away unexpectedly and finances are tough for our family.

Melissa truly was a special person. she was so much more than a big sister, so much more than mother, daughter, friend, and even bigger than life. she had the kind of smile that would brighten a room and fill your heart with love. she was fun, funny, sacrastic and real. was never afarid to tell you how it was and never afaid to thow hands for the ones she loves. She was the type of person who would do anything and give everything to those she loved. even in her darkest times, even when she lost herself and even though trying to find herslef she was there for others. wearther it be just a friend by your side when you needed one, weather it be the last few cents in her pocket she would be there. Ever since Melissa was young she was always looking out for everyone. ever since she was a teenager she always knew what she wanted when God called her home to gain her wings. My big sister Melissa true to who she was in life wanted to be an organ doner. I'm Very proud of my sister and I'm even more proud to announce that our family has decied to honer that wish. even as I type this with lots of hope and failth lives are going to be saved today and that’s all because she had such an amazing heart and soul.

So now I'm coming to my friends and Family on not only behalf of our family but on behalf of Melissa and asking you to please help our family with her funeral and service expenses.

A lot of people keep asking "how can I help" or "let me know if there is anything i can do to help." a message from from my mother, aka mama Jonette, Ma, Jonetta, really though what most of you know her as Ma....

"please Just donate, share, anything you can do I will appreciate." I just wanna give her a nice burial and service.
