Melissa Ferguson’s emergency surgery and recovery

This GoFundMe was created by Melissa’s two sons.

Back in December, our mother was admitted into the hospital on several health complications. Since then, she has had to miss work in January and February due to complications with her health as well. Recently she has discovered that she will have to have a full emergency hysterectomy along with other procedures in hopes to restore her health that will be taking place this Monday (2/19). This procedure will put her out of work for several weeks and due to her working for a nonprofit, they do not offer insurance or short term disability. This GoFundMe is being set up to help with personal finances along with some medical expenses that she will need while she is not working. We deeply appreciate everyone who is able to make a donation for every dollar will go along way! If you are unable to donate financially, but would still like to help, making a meal while she down for recovery is also greatly appreciated!
