Help Melissa Fight Breast Cancer!

Hey all! I am Joslin and I am helping organize this fundraiser for the force that is Melissa Rivera!

If you have ever met Melissa, you know she would give you the shirt off her back, all while telling you it looked better on you anyway. That she would make sure you left seeing her with a smile on your face and feeling like a million bucks.

Now it is up to us to return that favor. Melissa was recently diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer, and though there is a good outcome, a financial strain has just been put on her (and her beloved Ryan's) lives. Not to mention the uncertainty of treatment and the impact on daily living.

If you know Melissa, you know I had to twist her arm to even talk about doing this, as she does not often ask for help. But, she is worth it and I hope we can all show her that.

We are seeking to raise $12,500 in order to help cover: lost income for Melissa, lost income for Ryan (while he takes care of her post-surgery and during radiation), help with boarding Stark during surgery and daycare during radiation, supplemental meds, holistic treatments, as well as increased travel expenses related to treatment (gas ain't cheap these days).
