This is my sister-in-law, and this is her story: For those that don't know, I went in for surgery last Thursday to remove what my doctor thought was a cyst on my ovary. Well the next day after everything was sent to pathology, the doctor called and gave me the worst news , something you don't wish upon your worst enemy, "it is cancer" . We know it has spread outside the ovary, he found some on my abdominal wall. basically, that is all I know at this point. The oncologists from OU are supposed to be calling me today, hopefully set up surgery this week to have a full hysterectomy and take out every bit of cancer they can possibly see with the naked eye. Afterwards, I will meet with the best teams of doctors to decide my chemotherapy plan. These next months, are going to be hard no doubt, but I have faith that God will get me through this. When I look at my 3 precious baby boys and my amazing husband, I remember that's my strength. My purpose for being here, and I will fight with every ounce in me to make sure I watch my babies grow up into men. My body and mind are strong and that is what gives me the upper hand on this awful diagnosis. Please continue to pray for me and my family.
