Melissa Lynn Pittaro

Hello, My name is Anthony Nickas. I'm Melissa's son for those who don't know. She passed away on 16th Dec 2023. We lost an amazing mother, friend and person who would give the shirt off of her back to make sure people were taken care of. She had a ton of friends everywhere, whether it be online or in person she was a social butterfly, being able to make friends wherever she went. As a mother she was amazing and stubborn to make sure us kids (Brianna and I) were taken care of and learn. She put tons of hours into making sure our schooling was done and fed at home. She spoiled us rotten even if it meant she had nothing for Christmas for herself. She was amazing and in words alone I can't explain how much she means to me. She was my number one fan and was always happy to hear about my military career. Every letter I got from her in OSUT she made sure I knew that. When I got pinned for my SGT she knew it was inevitable and told me I was destined for more. I got it from her if I had to admit. She was an amazing woman and it's hard for me to accept she is gone.

I'm passing this over to her ex-husband Dan now. She was my best friend even after we separated, and spent the holidays together at her home because she wanted me to be there with our children.

I'm making this because I need help paying for her funeral. Their is not a scheduled date yet but it will be held at Eackles-Spencer & Norton funeral home.
