Melissa Minton Stephan Memorial Fund

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Melissa Minton Stephan. Words fail to capture the larger-than-life presence Melissa had in a room, let alone in this world. She was full of joy, laughter, and a mischievous every-day-is-Mardi-Gras approach to her life. She reinvented herself to great success around the country through new careers and experiences and always making lifelong friends at every stop.

We are some of those friends, and we hope to take care of closing out Melissa’s earthly life with ease, dignity and even a dose of joy and laughter.

We are raising money to cover the many expenses involved in relocating her life in Portland back to Texas, especially for her beloved dog Fritz. The big boy is well over 100lbs and needs special delivery. Additionally, there will be flights, lawyers’ fees, memorial services, etc.

Any excess money will go to her wonderful son, Cooper, the true center of her love. Any relief during this time is greatly welcomed.
