Melissa Parker Vocal Cordotomy Fundraiser

My name is Shannon, Melissa's son. I am creating this fundraiser in hopes that my mother can get the treatment she deserves in order to live a healthy and active life. Her friends and family would like her happy and healthy for years to come.

I am here to raise funds for my beautiful mother, Melissa Parker. Like many of us, my mom has had her share of struggles in life, but her current battle is the biggest one yet. For the past few years, she has been battling respiratory issues that have made it difficult for her to breathe and exercise. Her oxygen saturation levels are too low, which has impacted her overall health.

As a mother of three and grandmother of seven, her biggest wish is to be able to spend more quality time with her loved ones. She has dedicated her entire life to working in the medical field for 32 years, caring for others, but now she needs our help.

She needs to undergo a vocal cordotomy and removal of cartilage to open her airway so that she can breathe better and lead a happier, healthier life. This procedure is incredibly expensive, with an upfront deductible of $5k, beyond what her medical insurance covers. We are asking for your help to make my mom's life a little easier and help her live longer for her grandkids.
