"Dear everyone, just to put it in a short and quick story our second night of our 5 week vacay, I got up to take a bathroom break and walking back to our bedroom in our cool Airbnb I chose the wrong door to our room. I chose the door that led down a steep stairwell to the kitchen. I stepped into air!

I am now in casts on both feet and had surgery on September 13 ( my lucky number). My other foot did not need surgery, thankfully. I've been in such good hands at the Lausanne teaching hospital and mostly here now, with Barney taking full care of me. I am so grateful for so much. We never know what's around the next rock!"
