Melissa Stebbing - A car crashed into my house

Hi, my name is Melissa, I am from Hastings. I am an indigenous woman and I work at Willum Warrain.

I was relaxing at home with my partner and dogs when a car crashed through my entire house. I was 60cm away from being killed, my partner and I were lucky to survive. However, the crash completely destroyed my home where I've lived for 12 years and we had just finished renovating.

To make matters worse, the property was left exposed and my house was broken into with my belongings stolen whilst I was recovering in a motel - where I am currently living.

I have multiple heath issues and my partner is epileptic, I just want to get back on my feet and be able to reunite with my dogs who are being held at the pound.

I really appreciate any help.
