Melissa Weaver needs support

Our dear friend Melissa needs our support! A few weeks ago on March 14th, she had an unfortunate accident while doing flood prep work in her garage. Her steel pop-up tent came crashing down unexpectedly onto the back of her left knee and upper calf which resulted in a very large, wide and deep laceration in a very tender and sensitive joint area.
She was stitched up internally and stapled together by St. Joe's Memorial Emergency Team. When she arrived at Urgent Care a week later hoping to have the painful staples removed, the PA said the wound needed more time to heal, that the staples weren't ready to come out and that Urgent Care wasn't qualified to treat her type of serious wound. The PA referred her to the special Wound Care Clinic in Healdsburg, which took another week to secure an appointment.
Luckily, Melissa's niece Molly, who is an Emergency MD at UC Davis coached her with wound care during this interim time. Both Molly and the Urgent Care medical team told her staples were not the best choice for that area - because her skin was so swollen and thin and because it was an "impossible not to move" joint area, and after 2+ weeks several of the staples had torn through her skin exposing the internal stitches.
Both Urgent Care and the Wound Care Clinic told her that her wound was a complicated one in a very complicated area, that circular wounds were tricky and took a lot longer time to heal than straight wounds, and could take up to 2-3 months or longer to heal, including regular visits to the clinic for closely monitored wound care and treatment during that time.
Both medical teams stressed how important it was for her to take off work and use this time to focus exclusively on her healing. This is especially important because Melissa has also been dealing with somewhat serious venous insufficiency leg circulation problems, especially since her long trip to Ghana and back (a 42.5-hour trip home), which was preceded by a very scary and dangerous auto accident en route to the airport in Accra. At present, she is being tested for blood clots and microclots.
The catch-22 is that walking and exercising are the best remedy for this condition, and right now Melissa is unable to walk properly, besides her hobbling around for short distances with a cane.
Melissa needs plenty of TLC and rest, and would greatly appreciate your healing prayers, and to visualize her entire body vibrantly healthy; to see her grounded and steady, walking freely, swimming laps with grace and ease, and dancing with wild abandon! She has complete trust in her body's ability to heal and will use this challenging time as a catalyst to become stronger and more vital than she was previous to the accident.
She will also be super grateful to receive monetary gifts to help her pay for her rent, monthly bills, nutritional supplements, and alternative treatments such as EE Scalar Energy Wave sessions, acupuncture, and massage. Melissa will also need physiotherapy and/or chiropractic to help her relearn how to walk properly again after her wound has healed. And, she has found a wonderful ND in Novato who believes he can help her leg circulation issues.
Melissa would also appreciate if any of you would be willing to offer your time in the next few weeks and help her out with simple weed-whacking, mowing the lawn, or with heavier housecleaning jobs such as mopping the kitchen floor or scrubbing the tub.
Your prayers, good thoughts and any monetary gift, large or small will be warmly welcomed and greatly appreciated by Melissa at this time. Together we will make a huge difference for her!
Thank you for your support!

March 14th, after a long night at St Joe's.
Melissa would love for you to see her smiling radiantly like this...
dancing happily amongst a warm, loving group of friends...
spreading her wings...
and, most importantly, taking time for deep contemplation and inner work, while churning and transforming the hot, fiery, illusive sands of time.
