Melissa Williams Benefit

****Sweet Melissa ran to her Jesus Thursday Sept 7th, 2023. She was home, surrounded by her husband, daughter and amazing friends and family.***

My sweet Mom has been diagnosed with stage 4 gallbladder cancer, at age 52. This is a rare and aggressive cancer that has spread to multiple areas in her body. Chemo was the only option to hopefully help slow the growth of this terrible disease and give her another month or so. We have recently found out that chemo did not work. Tumors have grown larger and there are more growths. Doctors believe that she has 6-8 weeks left. Melissa has continued to have a positive attitude and has shown incredible strength. We are doing our best to keep her comfortable.

She takes great pride in being a mom and wife. She is the center of her small family and was a busy body! Always cooking, gardening, taking care of others or helping someone!

Unfortunately, Melissa and her husband do not have life insurance or any funds to help in this area. Which is why we are having this fundraiser and very kind people in our local community have planned a benefit for August 5th to help alleviate some of the costs. All funds raised will go directly to this and will be saved for any final and unexpected costs. All thoughts, prayers, cards and funds are greatly appreciated as mom fights this horrible disease!
