Melissa Newton Family Education Fund

On May 30th, 2019, we tragically lost Melissa to an automobile accident. Melissa was our light in the dark room. She warmed the hearts of all that knew her. Melissa dedicated her life to her family. Coordinating rides to rehearsals, organizing schedules for competitions and performances, and school functions. Her girls were her everything. She made sure people felt special! Planning wonderful vacations and surprises for her family made her happy. The big things and the little things were important to her; birthdays at Disney to weekly coffee to plan meals. Melissa loved her job. She worked at ProLogis an industrial real estate company in Las Vegas. She started her career there 10 years ago as an administrative assistant. With her drive and determination Melissa was promoted twice. For the last 3 and a half years Melissa has been a property manager managing industrial warehouse spaces, customers and vendors. Melissa has touched so many individuals in the valley. Her sense of volunteerism permeated her life. She has worked on the PTO of her children’s school, as well as volunteered with Habit for Humanity and the Candlelighters Childhood Cancer foundation of Nevada. We will all miss that smile!
