As most of you know I lost my dad in an accident February 2020. It was very traumatic for my mom, me and my siblings as we witnessed it happen. Grieving as a kid is hard and confusing. The best thing I could do to get through most days was to keep my mind busy. I was grieving while also being stuck in quarantine as we all were then. So I watched lots of tv and movies. I fell in love with the show Vampire Diaries and having that to rely on when it felt like my whole world was falling apart helped me get through. I have wanted to take a trip to Covington, Georgia to see where the show was filmed and spread some of my dads ashes for a few years now. I’ve saved all my birthday and Christmas money and My dad taught me to work hard for what you want so I am doing whatever I can to earn the money for my mom and I to go.
