Melody's MCT (mast cell tumor) Removal

My name is Jennifer, and I have had the ultimate pleasure of being the dogmom to Melody for the last three years (almost). When we adopted Melody, we knew that she came with a soft tissue sarcoma on her leg that was inoperable primarily due to its location. Did that slow her down? Not at all. Luckily, we were able to do a year of chemo to temporarily stop growth, and she thrived on the medication. Unfortunately, we find ourselves at a new obstacle with a new tumor. A few weeks ago, she had a lump on her chest aspirated, and it came back as a (scary) mast cell tumor. We followed up the diagnosis with x-rays and ultrasounds to ensure it wasn't apparent in any other part of her body. Luckily, all of the images came back with good news.

Our next step is to remove the tumor and have it biopsied to determine the cancer grade and what to do moving forward.

Thankfully, we are in a position where we've been able to afford these tests for our furbaby, but the bills are adding up. As a result, we are asking for some help with Melody's upcoming surgery. We love our girl so much and want her to be as healthy as possible.

The estimated vet bill came in just under $1,800. Any money left over after the surgery is paid for will help cover future treatments of chemo.
