Cheated ,  devastated , destroyed dreams, future left in question.

This young family had been looking for a new home to fit their growing families needs.
Choosing Niverville MB ,where they had friends and found a affordable home . The home would be built from the ground up ,and was double their current homes size.
Every thing pointed to this being a great house to be there forever home . They could build a future in this community.

So they sold there home , made the deposit for what would be their future home.

THE UNIMAGINABLE  ;they had been SCAMMED !!The biggest investment that you could make in your life ,and BOOM your devastated.
The builder, not only didn’t  build there house . The lot the home was to be built on, had never been owned by the builder.
The deposit gone, homeless and living in a BNB ,Feeling like they had failed their 1 year old child. How would they recover from this. ? It will take years to be back in a home.
As a person who has gone through house purchases that have gone horribly wrong and very costly, I can’t imagine their worries.
Please give what you can to help this family .
The community of Niverville is also trying to help them any way they can. As well the actual Developer who owns the lot has said he will help by offering a generous reduction of the lot price.Equal to the difference of the deposi they made ,and the price of the lot.
Niverville and its community members, with your help ,can change the Memic’s future .
In a email, Laura Memic said ;”I’ve spent countless evenings/nights/days consumed, sleepless and worried about what we will do. What broke me was feeling like I failed my 1 year old in being able to provide him a better life then what we had. ”
