Memorial and Cremation Fund for Susan Ramsey

It is with a heavy heart the family of Susan Ramsey is announcing the loss of their beloved Mother, Sister, and Friend. Susan leaves behind 3 children; Ona, Jaydyn, and Jasmynn, who she loved and adored.

Susan has been struggling with her health after she suffered a brain aneurysm in 2018. She recently became ill and was admitted to the hospital for pneumonia on February 12, 2024. She was placed on a ventilator to give her lungs a break. The doctors tried to wean her off the ventilator but it was determined that she would not survive on her own without it. On February 27, 2024, Susan made the choice to receive “comfort cares”, she passed peacefully with her children and friends at her bedside on February 28, 2024.

Susan’s passing was an unexpected loss at the young age of 56. Her sudden passing meant there were no preparations made ahead of time. We are asking for donations to cover the cost associated with a memorial celebration of life and cremation services so that her children can grieve without the added stress of additional financial burdens.

Susan was very kind and she loved everyone she met, and she was not afraid to tell you just how much she loved you. She cherished her children, family and her faith was strong in Jesus. Susan’s light will always shine bright and we will cherish every memory.

Thank you all so much for the love and support you have shown, it really means a lot to Susan’s children! Because of your generous donations Susan’s children can pay for her cremation and they are so grateful for that! Nobody should have to bury their mother this young. Her children want to give their mother a special send-off to show how much she was truly loved.

Her children still need help! Susan’s oldest daughter Ona lives in Oregon, but she will need to stay in Omaha to finalize Susan’s affairs and make the memorial arrangements. Susan’s son Jaydyn is currently a college student and lives in California. The cost of traveling and not working has been a financial burden for both. Susan’s youngest daughter Jasmynn is currently living at home, and we are unsure if Jasmynn will need to move. She too has missed work.

Due to these reasons, I am asking for continued support and prayers so that Susan’s children can continue to grieve without having these additional stressors.
