Memorial and Funeral expenses for Brian
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Amy and I grew up in a large family that was held together mainly by my grandma and grandpa. I have a total of 12 aunts and uncles on one side of the family with many cousins. As an adult, I have drifted away from most of my family just due to life in general and having my own family, but this is not about me.
On July 4th, 2023 one of my cousins (age 48)was doing what he loved doing for his family and it became tragic. He was having a get-together and shooting off fireworks for his family and kids. Many neighborhood families also went to his home that he shared with his wife and two kids to watch the light show he was displaying. One of the fireworks that he had exploded, and instantly killed him. His mom, his wife, his children, his grandchildren and many neighbors had to witness this horrifying and tragic accident. This was not the first time he had dealt with fireworks and many times he did not shoot them off. There were many times that I would see him at a festival close to his home where we would watch a large professional fireworks show. This time it was an extremely horrible accident.
So what I am making this fundraiser for is to try to assist his family with putting him to rest. He owned a small local business and did not have life insurance on himself. He leaves behind a wife, a mother, siblings, and 5 children and grandchildren. Please help my family in whatever way that you can. We will be extremely grateful. We have 3 days to donate and I will transfer all funds I receive to the funeral home in charge of his burial/funeral.
Thank you for your time in reading this, even if you can only give $1, every little bit can help the family that he left behind. God bless!
Update: 7/12/2023-Brians funeral was paid for! Thank you for all your assistance! Any extra donations will go to his wife and children to help pay for his headstone and maybe a little bit extra to try to get their life back to the new normal for them. Thanks again for all your donations!
