Memorial Bench For Our Mum Deborah Crawley

We are Kayleigh and Kirsty, daughters of Deborah Crawley. The former leaseholder of the cafe in the Horley Recreational Grounds. The Farmyard Kitchen In The Park.

We as a family are deeply saddened by the unexpected passing of our mum on 18th May 2024 at the young age of 57

We didn’t realise how many people our mum knew but from all the heartwarming messages we feel the whole community loved her just like we did and her sudden passing has affected many.

Some people have mentioned flowers for her funeral but we don’t like the idea of people wasting their money on flowers that are only going to wilt away and will need to be disposed of.

We have been thinking of an alternative idea and have spoken to Horley Town Council who have given their approval to have a memorial bench to be placed in the Horley Recreational Grounds.

We feel a memorial bench will be a lovely tribute to our mum, a place for us and the whole community to go to remember her.

We are not sure of the total cost for a memorial bench, plaque and setting at the moment but if there are any excess funds from this go fund me page we will be donating it to charity. The charity has not been decided yet but if we get to that stage we will let you all know where we donate it to.
