Memorial Bench for Paul Viney at Tavarn Y Bont

Calling all fellow boaters, family & friends of Paul Viney. This page is aiming to raise as much funds as we can on behalf of Helen Viney (my mam) towards a memorial bench for Paul Viney, who passed away suddenly last August. The Tavarn y Bont was a place Paul was fond of during his time boating as captain of the Celtic Queen, due to its placement close to the canal and the top class hospitality received there. The pub have been very kind in allowing us to place a bench outside in Pauls memory. Pub address-

 We hope to raise enough to purchase the bench personalised with the cross logo from Paul's boat. The plan is to fundraise and order the bench in time for it to be placed on or around the one year anniversary 25th August. More details to follow on this once the bench order has been placed. A holding deposit of £100 has already been paid to reserve a bench with the suppliers. Thank you for your support
