Memorial Bench honoring Roberto Ruiz Jr. At Henry
Donation protected
Hello everyone. First off I’d like to thank you for even taking the time to read this.
Not too long after Roberto passed, I decided I wanted to do something to honor him. I wasn’t sure what I was going to do but I finally decided what I’m going to do.
I have decided to purchase Roberto a Memorial Bench and place it along the 3rd base side at Henry Park. As you know, Roberto loved playing shortstop and third base. No matter how hurt or banged up he was, those were his positions.
I have already purchased the bench for $2,400 and it is in the process of being built as I type this. That comes with the medal bench, the concrete pad and all the labor to instal it.
I’m not expecting everyone to help out here.. but anything would be appreciated. I set the goal of $2,600 due to fees with this platform but honestly anything would be forever appreciated.
I did not want me to fall short of my goal so I decided to go and purchase it before hand.
This man was a friend to many. A staple in the community. He was a Father figure to me when I needed and he never asked for anything in return, ever. He was a very selfless man. His family came first and his obsession for softball came second.
If any of you can help me with my goal here in putting a bench on the 3rd base line at Henry Park, I would be so grateful.
I love you Roberto.
