Memorial Campaign for Isidro (Rosey) Yanez

We are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of our beloved Isidro "Rosey" Yanez Jr.  Only 62 years young, he will be missed greatly by his family, friends and the music community.  He is survived by his parents, brother, sister, nephews, niece and extended family.  

Born in Gilroy, CA and raised in Santa Paula, many know him for his caring sole and loving heart, and of course his musical talents. Driven to help others, he pursued a PhD in clinical psychology, however ultimately followed his passion and dreams of being a musician and mastering the saxophone.  He was extremely talented and easily was the top sax player in Ventura County for over 40 years, playing with some the greatest musicians in the world.  His music will remain in our hearts forever.  He also shared his gift with so many students, investing in their futures and sharing additional joy.  His kindness, friendship, spirit, passion and love for music will be missed but never forgotten!  Enjoy his music with the The Canela Band here
