Memorial Costs for Ernie Simmons

Hi, my name is Kate Folb and I am fundraising to help the Simmons family cover the costs involved in Ernie Simmons' care and memorial. Sandy is a dear friend and I got to know Ernie a bit in the last years of his life. Ernie was a veteran - a former Marine - who ran a gardening business and then worked at Van De Kamps bakeries for 30 years. He also loved to play dominoes. Sandy and her husband Tony cared for Ernie in their home for over 4 years making sure he was surrounded by love and family. It was not always easy, but a responsibility they accepted with grace and affection. Now that he has departed to the next realm, we hope to ease the burden of the costs associated with his care and his memorial.
