Memorial Douglas Ginesi
Donation protected
Early Sunday, April 18th, I received a call from Stacey Davis letting me know that her father had taken his last breath on earth and had gone to be with his heavenly father. The loss of his life will be felt by the thousands of people that loved him and the lives that he touched through his ministry at Trinity Lutheran Church.
If you have ever stepped foot inside Trinity Lutheran Church, you have gotten to witness Douglas Ginesi in action. For over 45 years he has led worship music, directed the choir, and accompanied countless events on the piano/organ. Weddings, graduations, funerals, church services, concerts… this man really did it all, and he did it all with the heart to serve the Lord and his church community. He has been there for so many people through the good times and the bad.
But his family will most definitely feel his absence the hardest. He leaves behind his loving wife Barb and his four devoted children: Christin, Steve, Stacey, and Ricky. The sad reality is that Barb will be losing her main source of income. In addition to this, there will be massive medical costs from Doug’s 7 weeks in the hospital and upcoming funeral costs. Doug’s number one goal was to take care of Barb and protect her. I am hoping and praying that those who loved him and this family can help continue being a part of that now that he is gone.
The memorial service is set to be at Trinity on May 15th at 2:00pm. More details will be shared on Facebook later.
Please feel free to reach out to the family with cards/gifts/flowers/etc at the following address:
