Memorial Expenses for Dena Whiting (Smith)
Donation protected
Dena Whiting (Smith) passed unexpectedly yesterday. She leaves behind two young children, Waylon and Wren, a loving and devoted husband, James Whiting, and of course many other family members and friends she loved.
Dena was many things to many people but above all things she was a mother. Her number one priority was her children. She attended all of their events, volunteered at their school, and worked diligently to improve her community so her children would have a wonderful place to call home. She was active in many community and school events. She came from a long line of family dedicated to the Thompsonville community and showed her children the importance of civic duty.
Dena and I made a promise before either of us had children, that if one of us died the other would do everything she could to help the other's children, that we would ensure the other's children would never forget the love and character of their mother. I have a lifetime of duty to her children ahead of me and this is the first step. At the request of her family, I ask that you please donate to the memorial costs of my sister, my best friend, my person. Her husband, children, and family need the kind of support from us and the community that she had shown over the years.
Dena Lynn, you are loved, you are missed, you are remembered, and your family is in our thoughts and prayers. I promise you, this community will come through for Wren, Waylon, and James.
Please donate to this fund in memory of the greatest person I've ever known. Memorial details will be available at a later date, as the family has a lot to process with this sudden and unexpected loss.
