Memorial expenses for Denise Rice Hannusch

My mother returned to her creator on Monday December 20, 2021, after a long and hard fight with cancer. Many did not know how bad it had become because she was such a fighter. She was full of spirit and spunk and was determined to beat this. She was a member of a large group and Facebook community of fighters (MF and MF Fighters) that had the same cancer as she did. She was their guide and mentor. She owned the Flair Salon in Trinity and was hairstylist (and counselor,) to many generations in our town. She loved to take road trips and loved to meet new friends. She was devoted to God her creator and his son Jesus Christ and made her life decisions based on his teaching. She prayed for strength and courage and for Gods spirit to help her friends and family. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, her life was full. She loved making sure her Grandchildren wanted for nothing. She was loved by all. She will be missed.

In the true spirit of my mother she didn’t even consider going away from us like she did. It hit her as hard and fast as it did us. We are trying to put together a memorial for her and will let everyone know as soon as the arrangements have been made. Many have asked how they could help and so we set this up to help with her funeral and memorial stone expenses. If you cannot donate we would still enjoy hearing from you how my mother, Denise impacted your life, or a funny/good memory you have of her. This is going to be tough for our family but we appreciate all the kind words, thoughts, and prayers.
