Memorial expenses for Elizabeth Raday
Donation protected
On February 25, 2020, my beautiful, vivacious and amazing sister Elizabeth lost her battle with atypical neuroendocrine cancer. I am raising money to help her surviving children with memorial expenses as well as lawyer fees, mortgage payments, various bills left behind and the unending medical bills from diagnosis to treatment.
Liz was an amazing mother and a much admired hospice nurse. She was known for her ability to be a straight shooter who never sugar coated anything; but even more so for her giant heart No matter the person who needed the help, be it medical, psychological, monetary...whatever the need, no one was ever turned away. The door was always open. She had love for everyone! Even if she was down to her last crumb, she would give you half. Anyone who knew Liz had a story. Her giant cackling laugh and expressive eyes were unforgettable. If you were out and about with Liz, there was no telling what sort of adventure would follow! She was simply magic and the pied piper of fun! Anywhere we went, everyone clamored for her attention.
However, nothing compared to the love she had for her children: Valerie, Mark and Nick. For them, there was nothing she wouldn’t do; and they for her. Theirs is a bond few people get to experience with anybody ever. When Mark was killed in a tragic car accident at the tender age of 21, instead of falling apart they became closer than ever. Vowing to never let love be unsaid or unknown, not for one single day.
My hope is to ease some of the worries and financial burdens left behind during this tragic time. Please donate if you can; and/or share this campaign. Please help this family hold on to what they have left. They have already lost so much....
