Burial Expenses for Fred Roseman (FreddyRo)

UPDATE: Fred's Memorial Service was Saturday, July 30th, and was a loving event with many friends and family in attendance. Some of our childhood friends also came and shared, and I am sure FreddyRo was smiling down on all present.

The family still needs some support to pay for the burial of remains at his parent's gravesite.

I am Reverend Michael Lattimore and the godbrother of Fred (FreddyRo) Roseman for over 64 years. We were raised up together, and I've always been "Fred's little brother".

Fred was diagnosed with multiple myelomas over 15 years ago (!) and was granted a new lease on life after stem cell transplants. His life was extended so that he could enjoy his children, grandchildren, the love of his siblings and many friends in the Steppers Circles that he so loved.

Fred made his transition into the Other Side of Life on 7/22/22 at approximately 11:00 am. He was with family and his spirit was at peace. His last text to me about a month ago was "Thanks for having faith in a brother!"

I will miss him dearly but I'm so grateful he was spared from longterm suffering and pain. He was also cared for by his loving sister Joni who sacrificed so much for him to be in hospice at her home.

Fred didn't have insurance and the family is working on completing the burial plans with a local funeral home in Chicago where many other family members have been supported.

Fred also didn't want a big funeral with folks crying over him, but always said he wanted folk to eat, party, dance and celebrate his homegoing when the time came. His Going Home service was just that! Thanks to the many who donated to his cause.

Please help us bury Fred with his parents who are already resting in the arms of the Divine Father. The village takes care of its own.
