Memorial expenses for Kai

My name is Rhi and I am fundraising on behalf of my dear friend, Yazzie, as she grieves the loss of her sweet boy, Kai Rowan Turner.

Kai was an adventurous and bubbly boy. There was never a time when I saw him turn down the opportunity to try something new: new food, new heights, new gymnastics, new friends. He wanted to try it all. He soaked it all in and was an absolute joy to be around.

Kai has passed away at the age of 2 due to a horrible drive by shooting. He was cherished and this should not have happened. This should not happen to anyone.

This loss is very unexpected. I am raising funds to cover memorial expenses ($4,000) and to cover his mother's monthly bills so that she has time to sit in her grief and to be warmly cared for by her friends and family ($2,000).

Yazzie is an amazing mother. Anything that we can do to help her will not go to waste but will likely be given back in to the world ten fold.
