Debbie Jo Craig

We couldn't have asked for a more kind and generous person to grace our lives. In her life, she dedicated herself to the betterment of every individual she met. She was a mother and beloved wife who loved as intensely as she was driven. In her career, she chose a path of integrity and providing the best care for many families over the years. As the years went on, many sons and daughters took her into their hearts and families for the dedicated care she gave. As an entrepreneur, she; along with her husband John, built a mystic "cultural hangout" called Moondance music, (which seemed to reach every resident of Canon City). With this new found direction, she burst into local commerce with visions of a "eclectic" and "strollable" Main Street. Giving way for artists and musicians to platform themselves somewhere that wouldn't discourage individualism, yet ENCOURAGE it. All walks and ranges of life could be found in Moondance Music, Cafe' and Gallery, and was a form of town square for opinions and opportunities to be discussed. After the near decade of business ownership, she focused on personal growth and discovery and took to her family, wherever they may be, whether in Colorado, Missouri, Mexico, Arizona and beyond. Every day of her life, no matter the conflict; she would seek a harmonious resolution. Seek the peace, help your neighbors, invest in your community.... She was a special kind of light. Rare, even amongst her own kind.

I, Alex Craig, am writing this and find it difficult to even fathom doing this. I have never been slightly proficient at accepting help, (or even asking for it), but at this time, I am asking. Covid-19 hit us all hard, I know. If you can't donate, I truly, wholeheartedly understand. If you are reading this, you most likely know me, and know that I care about your well-being too. Even the smallest donation is a monumental help. We are using the funds for final expenses and arrangement costs. I will be the holder of said fund, and financial decisions will be finalized by my father, John Craig and myself.
