Memorial for James Richard Guilliot II
Our beloved James Richard Guilliot II, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, 08/25/2020. It was an unexpected, devastating blow to everyone that knows and loves him; especially his family.
Richard was the kindest man who meant so much, to so many. He gave the best bear hugs and had the greatest laugh. The kind of laugh that made you smile just hearing it. He was the kind of person who would literally give you the shirt off his back if you needed it. He loved helping others whether he knew them or not. He was a selfless man with the biggest heart.
Three years ago Richard came down with an illness due to propane exposure. He had some good days but most days he was in extreme pain. Because of this, he was unable to work for the last two years.
Monday morning Richard woke up not feeling well. That evening he felt well enough to get out of bed, eat, and visit with his family. Later that night he went to bed and sadly passed away in his sleep at age 56.
His family was his pride and joy, his biggest accomplishment, his everything! His wife and love of his life, Vickie, of 31 years, his older son and best friend JR, his daughter Makaala, who he absolutely loved and adored, and his two grandchildren that meant everything to him, Jordan and Jack. They were his world and he was theirs.
Richard’s greatest fear was knowing that his family would struggle. Not only with his loss, but also with the financial burden of a funeral, years of medical bills, and daily living expenses.
Please help support Richard’s family during this devastating time. With all that is going on in the world today, we must take care of one another. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support!
