Jason LeRoy Rasmussen, 50, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021. He was born January 17, 1971 in St. George to Aaron Hatch Rasmussen and Dale Jeanine Parker Anderson (Wayne Anderson). He married Gabrielle Marie Desautels.
Jason had many brothers- at least 98 (you know who you are!). He loved his family, including his extended family of many nephews and nieces. If we had to describe him with just one word, it would be stubborn; and he was stubborn until the very end. His light bringing smile, belly laugh, and movie quote antics will be sorely missed. He was a genuine soul. A gentle giant who wouldn’t hurt any living thing, unless he was defending his loved ones. Jason was a wonderful father, husband, brother, son and friend.
Survived by his wife, Gabrielle; children; Makenna Elizbeth Rasmussen, Wyatt Michael Rasmussen, Ronnie Dakota Rasmussen, and Desseny Charmaine Rasmussen; parents; siblings; Clinton (Marcia) Rasmussen, NY; Joseph (Brooke) Rasmussen, CA; Phillip (Florence) Rasmussen NC; Jessica (Billy) Tutor, Richfield; Dawn (Travis) Tippetts, Richfield; Maggie (Myron) Nilsson, VA; Robyn (Irwin) Pledger, Apple Valley; Michael Rasmussen, UT.
Preceded in death by his grandparents; Leland and Veola Hatch Rasmussen, Ron LaVar Parker and Mimi; aunt, Judy Johnson; uncle, Tommy Gurule; step-mother, Marianna Rasmussen; best friend, Todd Stratton.
Cremation services have taken place at the Magleby Mortuary Crematory.
