Memorial for Jax Estrada

This is the story of Jax Estrada. Jax is the son of Noe and Denise Estrada. He was born October 10, 2015. Before Jax was born his parents received news that no parent wants to hear. Jax would be born with Trisomy 18. Noe and Denise chose to continue with their pregnancy and let God determine how long Jax would be with them on this earth.
     Many T-18 babies die before they are born or within the first month of life. Not Jax.  Jax surprised the medical staff caring for him with his spunk and resilience. Denise took leave from her job at a local hospital to dedicate all her time to caring for their blessing. Jax celebrated his first birthday October 8th surrounded by family and friends.
     On October 12th, Jax developed breathing  complications and in the early morning hours of October 13th while being held  in Denise's arms he became an angel.
