Memorial for Katie Hunt at the MSPCA

Katie Hunt was my best friend for 19 years of my life. We lost her on October 3rd, 2017 to suicide. It has been the most heartbreaking thing her family and friends have had to endure. Katie was the sweetest person you could ever meet, while having you doubled over laughing within minutes of meeting her. She cared for her friends and family so much. She was a light to people without even knowing it. A world without Katie is a world that is missing something.
My birthday is May 21st. The greatest gift I could think of having is a memorial for Katie. So, in lieu of presents this year I am asking for donations towards a Katie Hunt memorial. This isn't just a gift for me, it's a gift for her friends, family, and the animals of the MSPCA.
The donations will go towards a memorial bench at the MSPCA Nevins Farm in Methuen, MA. As an avid animal lover, who took in her beloved cat Oliver as a stray right from the streets, I know she would appreciate knowing that the cost of the bench serves a donation to the shelter. This will also provide her friends and family a place to visit her.
*ALL* donations will go towards her memorial. If there are any excess funds the money will be donated in her name. If we do not meet the goal, we will seek out less expensive memorial options.
