Kenneth Robinson Tribute
While fishing with his friends and brother, one of his favorite things to do in his free time, Kenneth Robinson slipped into the Ohio River and was swept away on May 16, 2020. On Saturday, May 23, 2020, he was brought home to his family by the recovery team.
If you knew Kenneth, you loved him. Kenneth had an infectious smile, positive personality, and strong work ethic. He never missed an opportunity to celebrate friends and family. Kenneth always maintained a positive attitude and outlook on life, no matter what the circumstance.
Kenneth was a 2015 graduate of Taylor Allderdice High School and 2020 graduate of Mercyhurst University, where he obtained a degree in Sport Business Management. He played basketball and baseball at Allderdice. Kenneth was a part of the most successful Allderdice basketball team, winning three City Championships and placing runner up in the State Championship. Kenneth began his college baseball career at Mercyhurst North East, where he was a part of the regional championship team. He then transferred to the Erie campus and won back-to-back regional championships and appeared in two World Series. Kenneth worked hard to obtain his degree and never let any barrier hold him back from this achievement. He was accepted to and planning on attending graduate school for organizational leadership in the fall at Mercyhurst and to help coach baseball. Kenneth is an identical twin.
His love for his twin Keith was unconditional. The love and respect they had for one another was clear to everyone that knew them. He is survived by his mother Pearline, aunt Carrie, twin brother Keith, sister Keisha and cousin Javon. Kenneth's family is devastated by this sudden loss. As Kenneth's family plans for a special memorial, please consider contributing to ensure Kenneth is celebrated in the most respectful and joyous way.
