Kevin Weathersby was born to Maria and Jesse Weathersby on July 25, 1969 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. Kevin has two siblings, Jesse Weathersby and Juan Weathersby. Kevin grew up in the Sharon SDA Church, and his education tracked through Sharon SDA School, Milwaukee Junior Academy, Daniel Webster, James Maddison and then Wisconsin Academy. There at Wisconsin Academy, he met his lifelong partner, Ninfa Thompson. They married in 1992 and started a beautiful family having a daughter, Ninfa Thalya and then a son, Kevin Zuriel. He will be remembered as a caring son, a loving husband and a great father to his children.
Kevin was employed at Fusion Anesthesia in Brookfield, WI, for 22 years in the IT department. Kevin's devotion to the Lord and his passion for serving in the church were evident during his years of membership. As an active member of Waukesha Community SDA Church, he pioneered the media department, coached and mentored the Pathfinder Club and supported all youth events. Kevin also enjoyed camping and long bike rides during his spare time. Kevin had an eagle's eye for detecting Haagen-Dazs vanilla almond bar treats and never rejected anyone's gift of homemade Chocolate Chip cookies.
On Sunday, January 16, 2022, Kevin suddenly passed away from a heart attack. As you can imagine, this unexpected tragedy has weighed heavily on Kevin's wife and children. His sense of humor, his genuine smile and his friendliness will be remembered by all who knew Kevin Weathersby. We would greatly appreciate your love offering to the family's financial expense of Kevin's Memorial.
The Memorial Service will take place this Saturday evening, 22 January 2022 at 6:30pm at the Waukesha Community SDA Church located at 21380 W Cleveland Avenue, New Berlin, WI 53146.
