Memorial for Porfirio Angel Navar

On December 20, 2021 our dear son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend, Porfirio Angel Navar passed. It comes with devastating heart ache that we inform the community of this tragic news. Many of us knew Angel as the person who would brighten any gathering with his ability to cheer everyone up. He was a role model for the young children in his family and always spoke highly about his family. We can all speak to the love felt from Angel and knew that he would be there for us in our time of need. He always brought many people together and loved having a great time with everyone. Porfirio made his family proud by being one of the first to graduate college with an engineering degree and continued to pursue a Masters degree. While at NIU he touched and propelled the life of many strangers that called him brother and friend. We ask everyone to please help us celebrate the life of Porfirio Angel Navar by donating in his time of need. As many of you prepare for the upcoming holidays please keep Porfirio Angel Navar and his family in your prayers.

 

 

El 20 de Diciembre de 2021 falleció nuestro querido hijo, hermano, tío, primo y amigo, Porfirio Angel Navar. Viene con un dolor de corazón devastador que informamos a la comunidad de esta trágica noticia. Muchos de nosotros conocíamos a Angel como la persona que alegraría cualquier reunión con su habilidad para animar a todos. Fue un ejempleo a seguir para los niños pequeños de su familia y siempre habló muy excepcionalmente de su familia. Todos podemos hablar del amor que sentimos de Angel y sabíamos que él estaría ahí para nosotros en nuestro momento de necesidad tambien. Siempre reunía a mucha gente y le encantaba pasar un buen rato con todos. Porfirio enorgulleció a su familia al ser uno de los primeros en graduarse de la universidad con una licenciatura en ingeniería y continuar con una maestría. Mientras estuvo en NIU tocó e impulsó la vida de muchos extraños que lo llamaron hermano y amigo. Les pedimos a todos que por favor nos ayuden a celebrar la vida de Porfirio Angel Navar donando en su momento de necesidad. Mientras muchos de ustedes se preparan para las próximas fiestas, por favor mantengan a Porfirio Angel Navar y su familia en sus oraciones.
