This memorial is for my uncle, Richard Alvarez Jr., a beloved son of Virginia Alvarez, great brother to David and Mike Alvarez, amazing father to Ashley Alvarez, uncle to Briana and Jordan Alvarez, ever-loving boyfriend to Ramona Conway, and step-father to RaVen, TraVaughn, and Rhianna Montgomery.
A man of great kindness and an outgoing personality. A man who held family and would do anything for them. A man who devoted everyday to his daughter and those who surrounded his daily life. A man of virtue and one who heard others and helped as he could.
Sadly, he went to work one day, and caught the tragic COVID-19 virus. He left this mortal life on August 27th a humble man. He past unexpectedly and suddenly. This virus affects everyone differently, but he fought bravely and until the very last moment; he fought for his daughter, family, girlfriend, and step children.
Ashley is his one and only child, his everything, and his life. His life was dedicated to her, and would have thrown the world to have done anything for her.
His untimely death left an empty shell for everyone, and we, as his family, are trying to raise funds to help his daughter achieve what he wanted for her in the future. Richard would never dream of leaving Ashely without any help to succeed in her future.
Any form of help will push us to meet what Richard would want for Ashley, however, we do not anticipate any form of donations, but prayers and thoughts will help our family cope with the loss of an incredible man, who only wanted to make this world a better place for those he loved, especially his little girl, Ashely Alvarez.
