Memorial for Ron Ramirez
Donation protected
My father, Ron Ramirez had a bad fall and went into cardiac arrest March 15th. He was hospitalized for 2 weeks, unresponsive, and sadly passed away on March 29th. My dad, was a strong, independent man, as is my mom, they both raised me and my siblings to be the same. We have struggled through the years but they never failed to work for what we needed. As hard as it is to ask for help for my family during this time, I have had many people ask how they can help. If you are able to provide any funds, they will be dedicated to my dad's memorial, any outstanding medical bills of his, and lastly to support his wife and 4 children during this time, my mom and I are the sole working adults in our family, and are both unemployed due to COVID- 19. This pandemic has made this whole situation a million times harder, we only were able to visit my dad a total of 4 times in the hospital because of it, and on top of that, we have to push back a gathering/ memorial for my dad to a later date when all his loved ones can come together. I feel like my father has been robbed of some sort of "normal" way to be put to rest, same for my family, and his friends. We hope to have a huge celebration of his life once social distancing is done. My family is heartbroken, my dad was always so goofy, creative, talented, and loving. Anyone who was privileged enough to know my dad, saw the love and pride he held for his family. None of this feels real, I wish I wasn't writing this. He meant the world to my mom, my 2 brothers, my sister, and I. We don't know how to go on, but we are trying our best to emulate my dad by being strong. My mom and I will be in charge of this fundraiser. Thank you all who have extended your sympathies, who have shared your stories of my dad, please don't stop, he will live on forever in those stories and memories. I love you so much dad, I'll be seeing you. - Your little bird, Mom, Row, Ari, and Aed
