Memorial for Steven Arnold

Donation protected
Hello, my name is Matthew Arnold and my beloved twin brother, Steven Arnold, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 42. I am using this fundraiser to help raise awareness of his passing and to help my parents with the unexpected funeral expenses. As stated below as well, beyond this fundraiser, donations made in memory of Steven to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. A copy of his obituary is shown below:

Steven Arnold, beloved son of Nancy and David Arnold, departed from this world unexpectedly at the age of 42, leaving a void in the hearts of his family and friends. His passing has left a profound impact on those who had the privilege of knowing him. Steven will forever be cherished and dearly missed.

Born on June 25th, 1980, Steven was a loving brother to his siblings, Matthew and Karen. He was also a loving uncle to Sophia, Simon, Isabelle and Benjamin. His presence in their lives was a source of laughter, and support. As a family, they shared countless memories and experiences that will be treasured forever. He will be dearly missed by his pet cat Jinx.

Steven had an insatiable wanderlust and an undeniable passion for travel. He embarked on numerous expeditions across the globe, immersing himself in the cultures and landscapes of countries such as Indonesia, Singapore, China, Japan, and various other nations in Asia.

Among his many travels, one place that held a special place in Steven's heart was South Korea, where he spent several years teaching. His dedication to education extended beyond borders, as he wholeheartedly embraced the opportunity to share his knowledge and ignite the curiosity of his students. Steven's commitment to teaching left an indelible mark on the lives he touched and the communities he served.

Video games were an integral part of Steven's life, and he found joy, entertainment, and even solace in the digital realms. He appreciated the dedication and art behind crafting these worlds and the hard work people would put into their creations. His love for gaming was a testament to his imaginative spirit and his ability to find excitement and camaraderie in unexpected places.

Steven's absence will be deeply felt, but his vibrant spirit and warm memories will forever remain in the hearts of his family, friends, coworkers, and all those fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. May we find solace in the precious moments we shared and the lasting impact he had on our lives.

As we bid farewell to Steven, let us remember him with love, celebrate the adventures he embarked upon, and carry his spirit of curiosity, passion, and joy within us. In our memories and stories, he will forever live on, a cherished soul whose light will never fade.

A private family service will be taking place to celebrate Steven's life, and cremation has taken place.

Rest in peace, dear Steven. You are loved, and you will be missed always.

Donations made in memory of Steven to Diabetes Canada or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
