Our dearest Tara passed away last week. She fought for many years against several painful debilitating chronic illnesses. She is survived by her husband, Johnny Olsen, her daughter, Tish. Since this original posting, Tara’s mother, Linda passed away suddenly and unexpectedly from pneumonia and undiagnosed COPD. She was rushed to the hospital last week and passed on Friday evening just two days before Tara’s memorial. Funds will now be going to her final expenses as well.
Tara was a beautiful soul. A free spirit who was loved by all who knew her. She was a fierce advocate for others with chronic and terminal illnesses. Her most pressing diagnosis was Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (vascular type). It’s a genetic disorder where many of her joints were disintegrating from the inside out. Her level of pain associated with this disease was excruciating. How she stuck around here as long as she did was a miracle.
She is out of pain now and for that we are truly grateful.
The family is in need of financial assistance to help pay for the funeral arrangements and associated costs. We are asking you to consider donating any amount you can. Johnny and Tara have spent their lives dedicated to helping others, and it’s our turn to help them in this time of need and grieving.
Tara believed this in her life, and we hope it rings true in your life as well:
Love is all you need.
