Memorial For Teagan Eloise Etzler
Donation protected
Chelsea and Logan lost their sweet baby girl after just 4 days with her in the Nicu. Teagan Eloise Etzler was born on June 7th at 4:55pm weighing just 1lb 4oz, and measured 10.83in long. After just 4 days in the NICU, it is believed that Teagan caught an infection that her tiny body and lack of immune system just couldn’t fight off. Teagan was taken at 9:11pm on Saturday, June 11th.
Chelsea’s pregnancy was cut short at 26 weeks and 6 days after the doctors decided delivery was what was best for both Chelsea and Teagan’s health and survival. Chelsea had developed HELLP Syndrome just before delivery, which started attacking her liver and kidneys. Baby Teagan was a fighter through it all. She was diagnosed with Intrauterine Growth Restriction (IUGR) just before 20 weeks. They underwent weeks of testing and were required to start seeing the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists out of Harrisburg Hospital in addition to all of the normal doctors appointments that take place during pregnancy. It was finally found that Teagan’s size was due to placental and umbilical cord issues which can happen at random during a pregnancy.
We are creating this gofundme to help Chelsea and Logan with the financial burden of the medical bills they have acquired over the last 6 months from testing and the Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialists, their hospital/NICU stay bills, and ultimately the Funeral and Memorial expenses for sweet baby Teagan Eloise. Chelsea and Logan are working on healing physically from an emergency c-section, and emotionally from the loss of their baby girl. Nothing we do can take that pain away from them, or give them their baby girl back, but we can try to lessen the financial burden they are now being faced with at this time.
