Our Father Tedla Wendafrash Habte,
Tedla Wendafrash Habte was born on May 18, 1963. When he was at school age he attended both primary and secondary school in Dilla, Ethiopia at Atse Dawit and Dilla Comprehensive High School.
Tedla Wendafrash Habte, was 57, when he left this world Monday, July 6, 2020 at Emory Hospital in Decature, Georgia due to covid19 organ failure complications.
He leaves his wife of 25 years, Zuriash Isayas; his sons, Addis Tedla & Abel Tedla; his daughter, Mihiret Tedla; his brothers Moges Wendafrash & Tesfaye Wendafrash; his sister Fanaye Wendafrash; 4 grandchildren; and many close relatives and friends.
Born and raised in Dilla, Ethiopia, the son of Wendafrash Habte and Jemanesh Kidanemariam, he was a brief resident of Washington D.C. and lifelong resident of Atlanta, Georgia.
In his early years, Tedla would help his family farming business. After High School in 1982, he was enlisted in the Ethiopian Military Army. He met his wife, Zuriash Isayas at the Ethiopian Orhodox Church in Washington D.C.and they were married in 1995 at Saint Micheal Ortodox Church.
After serving with in the Ethiopian military he had to migrate to the United States through Kenya due to civil unarrest in the 90s. He not only took pride in his work, but truly relished the friends he made along the way. Over the years, he devoted his life to God, Church and Family & Friends.
Mr. Tedla had a passion for his faith and was able to raise his childrens to fear cGod and respect all human life.
