Memorial for Tim Rutherford

Hi! I’m Jessa, a friend of Katie’s for the last 8 years. Katie has been with me through many ups and downs and now it is my turn to help her.

Katie met the man of her dreams, Tim, after both had many years of searching. They got married in June of 2018. They both knew they wanted to start a family though that proved many obstacles. They both persevered through it and 4 months ago, the world welcomed sweet little Easton.

Yesterday afternoon, Katie received some of the worst news she could ever imagine. Tim was on his way home to his family from work in Hesston when he was in a fatal accident, not far from their house.

Katie, Easton, their families and friends are completely devastated.

We are all so heartbroken for Katie, but also for Easton who is only 4 months old.

Please consider donating to this fundraiser to help alleviate financial stress as this family tries to grieve such an immense loss.

Funds collected will go towards funeral costs, living costs while Katie is off work, and any leftover funds will then be put in an account for Easton.
