Memorial for Wendy Stapleton: A Gentle Soul

In memory of a Wonderful Human...

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Wendy Stapleton. Not only will she be missed by family and friends in South Dakota, but her entire family in Texas, from her years working at Recaro Aircraft Seating. Wendy was a pillar in the Customer Service Administration group here at Recaro. A 16-year veteran at Recaro, she served such customers as Alaska Airlines, Delta Airlines, Boeing, and many more over her tenure. She took immense care in making sure that she went above and beyond whatever her customer's needs were. In 2020, Wendy and her husband moved back to South Dakota to be closer to her children and grandchildren, after living in Texas for many years.

Wendy was the most gentle and kind soul you would ever meet, and there wasn't a single fiber of her that didn't genuinely care for everyone no matter how they treated her. She only ever had kind words to say about everyone and any situation. She was patient and calm in any storm. A woman of unwavering faith in the Lord, this showed through her daily in her consistency and kindness - no one ever had to question where her heart was postured. She was a mentor to many not only in the workplace, but in peoples' personal lives as well. Wendy was a caretaker at heart, would help anyone in need. She not only loved and adored her husband, children and grandchildren, but she had a love for animals as well. She loved nature and all its beauty. She was a dog mom and a chicken mom :) She loved gardening, reading and Wester decor.

She was the life of the party even 1,000mi away from the office in Fort Worth, TX. Those who worked with her but never met her, still felt as though they had known her their whole life. She never met a stranger she didn't know.

Donations will go towards having a memorial that reflects the beauty of Wendy's soul.
