Memorial for (William) Lie Cao
Donation protected
A close family friend had set up an older GoFundMe page, and we are very thankful for them to have set it up for us. You can view it here.
The reason why we are creating a new one is due to the overwhelming desire of our community to support us in our time of need. We are thankful for everyone who has donated to support us, and we honestly never knew there were so many people who cared for my father.
My father was a kind, and hard-working man, always putting himself before others. He cared for my mother and me to the best of his abilities, even though he can be rough around the edges at times. But he always thought of us and loved us dearly.
Unfortunately, he passed away on October 21, 2020, at Chemong Lake in a boating accident. We are still grieving for him, as well as his mother, who is outside the country.
We will be using the funds to help support his mother, as well as cover the funeral expenses for my father.
We are thankful for everyone's support in our time of need and grief and feel so blessed by the community at Curve Lake, our friends, our co-workers, and the kind strangers that have reached out to us. Thank you for being there for us, even in this pandemic season, for reaching out to us and making us realize that we're not alone.
Thank you.
