Memorial Fund for Angela Mora

I am starting this fund raiser for my dear friend Olivia Martinez. Her mother, Angela, was killed suddenly in an automobile accident in the early morning hours of Wednesday, January 11, 2017.

If you knew Angela, you knew she was a fighter. She had been battling cancer for the last year, and even through her battle, she managed to stay positive and upbeat through the worst of it. She was a generous soul who donated regularly to help fund cancer research. At the time of the accident, it was beleived that she had a strong chance of surviving the illness, and she was awaiting surgery in the near future.
Unfortunately, Angela passed without having had any savings or life insurance benefits. So there are virtually no funds avaible for the cremation and memorial costs. This heavy financial burden falls to her grieving family, adding weight to an already difficult situation. In order to make it easier on the family left behind, including Olivia and her 3 siblings, financial help is greatly appreciated.
Olivia, and her son Charles live in Louisiana. As a single mom, you can imagine she struggles with day-to-day expenses. Having to shoulder the burden of helping her family plan her mother's cremation and memorial services is just too overwhelming for her and her family to handle alone. This Gofundme is to help raise funds for travel expenses and time lost from work, as well as the standard cremation and memorial costs.
Angela touched so many lives, and she deserves to be remembered for the lovely and amazing person she was. Please help her family come together during this difficult time, without having the burden of worrying about how they will come up with the money to take care of all of this.
