UPDATE: A celebration of life is scheduled for 12 to 6 p.m. Friday, March 30 at Will and Schwarzkoff Funeral Home in Mount Clemens. The family has requested that guests not wear black. The family has communicated that they truly want this to be a celebration of her life and not a somber occasion.
Our dear friend Angeles White was involved in a tragic accident on Friday, March 23rd on Cass Avenue near S. Rose Street. While assisting with morning arrival, she was hit by a vehicle. She is currently on life support awaiting the final steps for her to provide the gift of life to others by donating her organs.
Angeles was an integral part of Prevail Academy and the Mt. Clemens community. In addition to working as an academic specialist/ELL teacher, she also protected children each day by working as a crossing guard on Cass Avenue. Her contagious smile and her friendly morning waves to everyone that passed by will forever be remembered. She touched the lives of countless scholars and people throughout the years. She will be missed tremendously.
