PAYING TRIBUTE TO ANTHONY IRACI
Anthony meant something different to everyone who knew him. He was a family member to some, a friend to me and
many others, a coach or maybe even a fellow firefighter or police officer. It didn't matter whether you knew him a long time or a short time, once Anthony knew you, he would do anything for you. He was a family man who always put Melissa (my friend of almost forty years) , Alexa and Anthony first. But it didn't stop there, he also was active in his community running fundraisers for his church and leading sports programs.
Of all the things I can say about Anthony, I think what sticks with me most is how genuine of a person he was. That quality can be rare, but it was evident with him from the second you met him. He would always ask how you and your family were doing, and it was sincere. I'm sure we all have similar memories to share of the great person he was who was taken from us way too soon from this invisible enemy.
The purpose of this fundraiser is to help out the Iraci Family with any uncovered or unforseen expenses as the family goes through this difficult time. Just like Anthony was a hero on the FDNY and NYPD, I urge you to be a hero in your own way and donate what you can.
